  • The Great Game - 'Nam and Body Bags (this is a CD3 scenario) submitted by David Makin
  • Operation Starlite/Satellite - USMC meet the 1st VC Regiment, a Command Decision Scenario reproduced with the permission of Greg Novak
  • Jungle Hell - the US 173rd Airborne meet the NVA 174th Regiment. This scenario, submitted by Barrie Lovell, is designed for use with a modified set of Arty Conliffe's 'Crossfire' rules.
  • The Fight for National Route 1 - a Vietnamese Marine Corps Company (Company B, 9th Marine Battalion) attempts to hold up the advancing NVA armour outside Quang Tri City during the NVA Easter Offensive of 1972. This scenario, submitted by Barrie Lovell, is designed for use with Incoming! a modified set of Arty Conliffe's 'Crossfire' rules.
  • Knee High in Nhi Ha - USMC fight head-to-head with the NVA on the DMZ. Based on events described in Keith Nolan's book 'The Magnificent Bastards'

Submit Your Scenario

The objective of this page is to provide a readily available library of scenario ideas for Vietnam wargamers. It relies pretty much on YOU submitting articles relating to scenarios that you have either played in or designed. You can send the articles (and attachments) to me directly by email. Whilst most of the scenarios have been written for use with a specific set of rules, they can all be easily adapted to suit your own systems.

When submitting an article, please try and provide me with the following:

  • Title of the Scenario
  • Names of Umpire, Players, Club etc.
  • Map of the Area of Operations
  • Description of the Terrain and Table Set Up
  • Order Of Battle for all Combatants
  • Objectives and Victory Conditions
  • After Action Report
  • Anything else that you think may be interesting!
