1st Air Cavalry Division (Airmobile)

Quite possibly one of the most famous combat units of the Vietnam War, the 1st Cavalry Division (Airmobile) or the 'First Team' as it became known, was an awesome combination of mobility and firepower. Developed from the 11th Air Assault Division (Test) the 1st Cav were led into Vietnam by Major General Harry Kinnard as the first fully airmobile and first fully committed division of the Vietnam War.
