Raw Materials Production

All raw materials are collected as part of the Production Cycle - this is usually on Mondays of the game calander.

STEEL PRODUCTION

  1. Each steelworks will produce X- tons per week (based on productivity).
  2. Except for the Homeland, this steel will be stockpiled at the nearest Port. All Homeland production and steel delivered from conquered Islands is stockpiled in the Capital. Steel is then allocated and transported from the Homeland to its destination.
  3. When Steel is loaded onto a merchant vessel, place a Steel Cargo counter on the vessel in the 'In Port' private window. Set the cargo counter to the amount being carried and deduct that amount from the Port stockpile.
  4. All Steel reaching its destination will be added to the stockpile.
  5. Necessary for the following;
    1. To build and repair shipping
    2. To build aircraft and Anti-Aircraft
    3. To build Army Groups and Artillery
    4. To Build/Repair Facilities
  6. Allocate Steel for construction and Repair

OIL-WELLS & NAVAL FUEL POINTS

  1. At the start of the week, ALL oil that has been delivered to the Homeland during the previous week is converted into fuel units at the rate of 200-tons = 1-fuel unit (10,000-tons = 50-units). This fuel is then added to the Homeland stockpile and the total in the 'delivered' column is re-set to zero (0).
  2. Each Oil-well will produce 10,000-tons of Oil per week.
  3. This Oil will be stockpiled at the nearest Port for transport to the Homeland.
  4. All Oil reaching the Homeland is added to the 'delivered' column of the Oil Production data-sheet. It will be converted into fuel units in the next production cycle at the rate of 200-tons = 1-fuel unit (10,000-tons = 50-units).
  5. All fuel units are stockpiled and in the Homeland Capital.
  6. 350 fuel-units/week are AUTOMATICALLY available in Homeland and are added to the stockpile.
  7. There are NO oilwells in the Homeland.
  8. When Oil is loaded onto a merchant vessel, place an Oil Cargo counter on the vessel in the 'At Sea' private window and deduct same amount from the Port-stockpile.
  9. Set the Oil Cargo counter to the amount being carried.
  10. Conversion of oil to fuel can ONLY take place in the Homeland.
