Manufacturing Production

New Factories and Shipyards can be built - see Facilities: Construction .

AIRCRAFT FACTORY

  1. Production of 10,000 points per week. Requires allocation of 5,000-tons steel/week.
  2. Select aircraft type to be built for the week. Only one aircraft type can be in production for the week.
  3. Produces number of aircraft as per the spreadsheet.
  4. Add newly produced aircraft to the Aircraft Factory Stockpile
  5. Disperse aircraft from stockpile to replenish existing squadrons or to create new squadrons
    1. Homeland: make a 'book' transfer
    2. Overseas: if in range, replenish/create squadrons as above. If not in range then must be transported by cargo vessel. A cargo vessel can transport ½ a squadron

NEW ARMY GROUPS

  1. The Homeland Capital produces either 2 new Army Groups OR 1 new Artillery Group per week
  2. Add new Army Groups and Artillery Groups to your Order of Battle on the datasheet.
  3. Place new units on the Capital or adjacent to it.

ARMY FACTORY

  1. Requires 5000-tons of steel per week
  2. Produces 10,000-pts munitions and supplies per week for overseas Army Groups, Artillery and Operational Airfields
  3. Overseas Army Groups require 2500- pts of supplies per week
  4. Overseas Artillery requires 2500- pts of supplies per week
  5. Overseas Airfields require 2500- pts per week
  6. Forces based in the Homeland and Homeland Airfields are AUTOMATICALLY supplied
  7. Supplies for overseas forces and airfields need to be transported to and deposited at the nearest Port to the group/artillery/airfield.
  8. This stockpile must remain at the Port of unloading (unless re-shipped elsewhere to another port-stockpile).
  9. It is assumed that Army groups, Artillery and airfields that require supply will automatically draw them from the stockpile.
  10. Supplies (5000- pts) are drawn fortnightly and no more than the proper quota can be issued.
  11. Note: Ports can be bombed and over-run.

SHIPYARDS

  1. Production is 10,000 points per week.
  2. Produces & Repairs shipping.
  3. Production & Repair Rates:
    1. Battleships & Large Carriers: 1,000-tons per day
    2. Cruisers & Small Carriers: 500-tons per day
    3. Destroyers & Small ships: 100-tons per day
    4. Merchant Shipping: 400-tons per day.
  4. Before building can commence, sufficient steel must have been allocated from the stockpile
  5. 1-ton of steel is required to build 1-ton of shipping.
  6. An additional 500-tons of steel is required per 1" of belt-armour
  7. Out of every 10,000 tons of steel reaching the homeland, no more than 100-tons can be allocated to submarine production and no more than 500-tons to aircraft-carrier production
