Facilities Repairs

Facilities that have been damaged can be repaired.

Depending on the type of facility being repaired there may be a requirement for steel to be allocated, an Army Group to be employed in the re-construction or both.

Note: repairs (like construction) take place DAILY and are not part of the weekly production cycle except insofar as they will still undergo repair on that day.

STEEL: where a facility requires steel to effect repairs this is deducted from the stockpile before the repairs are made for the day. If there is insufficient steel in the stockpile then repairs cannot go ahead.

It is not necessary to repair facilities at the maximum daily rate. You can repair any number of damage points up to the daily maximum. In this case any facility that requires the employment of an army group still has to have one assigned in order to make the partial repairs.

Assigned army groups must be present in the hex occupied by the facility itself.

  1. Capital: can be repaired at the rate of 1000-pts/day. Must be repaired by an Army Group.
  2. Airfields: can be repaired at the rate of 4000-pts/day. Must be repaired by an Army Group
  3. Air Factories: can be repaired at the rate of 1000-pts/day. Requires 1-ton steel/pt
  4. Army Factories: can be repaired at the rate of 1000-pts/day. Requires 1-ton steel/pt
  5. Ports (Docks): can be repaired at the rate of 1000-pts/day. Must be repaired by an Army Group.
  6. Steelworks: can be repaired at the rate of 1000-pts/day. Requires 1-ton steel/pt
  7. Ore Mine: can be repaired at the rate of 1000-pts/day. Requires 1-ton steel/pt
  8. Oilwell: can be repaired at the rate of 1000-pts/day. Requires 1-ton steel/pt
  9. Shipyards: can be repaired at the rate of 1000-pts/day. Requires 1-ton steel/pt
