The Facilities Damage Track

The Facilities Damage Track, or FDT, is a core feature of the book-keeping spreadsheet.

Every facility has a defensive points value. If this points value is reduced due to successful attacks, the productivity of that facility is affected. These changes in productivity levels are reflected throughout the rest of the datasheet and have a knock-on effect so it is important that the FDT is thoroughly well maintained.

Productivity determines how much or how many of a particular item a facility can produce. As the productivity level drops, so too does the output of that facility.

The FDT is a simple table listing all the facilities that you own. Alongside each facility are three columns; Defensive Points, Current Points and Overall Capacity.

Facilities Damage Track
  1. Defensive Points: this is the number of defensive points that a facility of this type starts the game with.
  2. Current Points: this is the number of defensive points that the facility currently possesses.
  3. Overall Capacity: expressed as a percentage, this is the capacity or productivity level of the facility based on its current defensive points total compared to its initial points value.

Changes to the FDT

As damage against a facility accumulates, it's ability to turn out materials is affected and productivity begins to drop-off.

Fortunately, facilities can be repaired so that repairs restore damage points and productivity climbs.

Airfield Reduced Capacity

In the above example, look at how Airfield#1 has been damaged and it's current points total has been reduced to 12,000-pts.

As a consequence, it's productivity has dropped to only 48% of it's original capacity.

Whenever damage is inflicted on a facility or alternatively, whenever repairs are made to a facility, change the facilities Current Points Value on the FDT.

No facility can have a Current Points Value in excess of it's original Defensive Points value. So, our Airfield in the above example can be repaired back up to 25,000-pts but never beyond that limit.

However, be mindful of damage levels since a facility reduced to zero points is, of course, completely destroyed and cannot be repaired. Instead, an entirely new facility must be built on the now empty hex.
